Mayer, Luigi.  Views in Egypt, from the Original Drawings in the Possession of Sir Robert Ainslie, Taken During His Embassy to Constantinople by Luigi Mayer. London: R. Bowyer, 1804.  Folio, three-quarter recent morocco over early 20th century marbled boards.  $3800

First edition, with later issue (1804) title page; text and plates watermarked 1801. Very slight occasional soiling, images crisp with superb hand-coloring.  A few stray scuffs to binding. Overall a clean, wide-margined copy handsomely bound.
