University of Oxford: printed by John Baskett, printer to the King's Most Excellent Majesty, 1716. Octavo, contemporary full morocco, raised bands, elaborately gilt-decorated spine and boards, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. $950.

Beautifully bound Book of Common Prayer printed by John Baskett, one of the most highly-regarded early eighteenth-century printers. A very handsome production with text ruled in red and over 50 full-page engravings. An extremely well-preserved copy: text in fine condition, contemporary binding with only slight scuffing to edges.
